From the clinical perspective, Behavioral Sciences research helps predict, prevent, and manage illness in individuals and in whole populations. This also helps people change their behaviors, understand treatments, and learn how to stick with them.
Criminology is essentially a branch of Social Science which applies scientificprinciples to the study to crime, criminal behavior, and punishment. In essence, it’s a branch of behavioral science in which crime is the behavior that is studied.
Behavioral science draws from a number of different fields and theories, primarily those of psychology, social neuroscience, and cognitive science. Combined, the behavioral science approach is broadly about understanding individual and group behavioral dynamics to initiate meaningful organizational development.
